Onboarding Wizard
Setting up your workspace in 8 steps
The onboarding wizard guides you through setting up your workspace in 8 steps. Wyrote automatically crawls your website, detects your offerings, and generates your first content strategy — so you can start producing SEO content right away.
Overview
The wizard takes you through:
- Workspace Name
- Domain URL
- Company Profile Review
- Language & Target Countries
- Business Strategy
- Offerings Detection
- Sitemap (Optional)
- Strategy Generation
Step 1: Workspace Name
Choose a name for your workspace. This is how you'll identify it in the sidebar, especially if you manage multiple workspaces later.
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., your company name or project name).
- Click Next to continue.
Step 2: Domain URL
Enter the URL of the website you want to create content for.
- Type your full domain URL (e.g.,
https://yourcompany.com). - Click Next.
Wyrote will automatically crawl your website using Firecrawl to extract:
- Company name
- Company description
- Industry
- Business type
- Existing services/offerings
Tip: Use your main domain URL, not a subdomain or specific page. This gives Wyrote the best data to work with.
Step 3: Company Profile Review
After the crawl completes, Wyrote presents a pre-filled company profile based on what it found on your website. Review and edit:
- Company Name — Your business name
- Description — A brief summary of what your company does
- Industry — The sector you operate in
- Business Tone — How your content should sound (professional, casual, conversational, etc.)
- Content Style — The type of content you produce
- Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) — A description of your target audience
Take your time here — these settings influence how Wyrote generates content for you.
Step 4: Language & Target Countries
Configure your content's language and geographic targeting:
- Content Language — Select the language your content will be written in (e.g., English, Turkish).
- Target Countries — Choose one or more countries you want to target for SEO. This affects keyword research and search volume data.
Note: Language and country settings affect keyword metrics (search volumes, difficulty scores) from DataForSEO.
Step 5: Business Strategy
Optionally provide revenue and pricing context for each offering. This helps Wyrote prioritize content that drives business results.
You can configure:
- Pricing Model — Per project, subscription, per unit, or hourly
- Average Deal Value — Typical revenue per customer
- Revenue Target/Month — Your monthly revenue goal
- Target Clients/Month — How many new clients you aim for
- Currency — Your operating currency
- Buyer Type — B2B or B2C
- Sales Cycle Length — How long it takes to close a deal
Tip: This step is optional but recommended. Business context helps Wyrote create content that aligns with your commercial goals, not just SEO metrics.
Step 6: Offerings Detection
Wyrote auto-detects the services or products you offer based on your website crawl.
- Review detected offerings — Each shows a title and brief description.
- Edit any offering to correct the title or description.
- Remove offerings that aren't relevant.
- Add new offerings if Wyrote missed any.
Wyrote also runs a sector pattern analysis at this stage, benchmarking your content presence against others in your industry.
Note: Offerings are the foundation of your content strategy. Each offering gets its own set of keywords, topic clusters, and content plan.
Step 7: Sitemap (Optional)
Provide your sitemap URL to enable internal linking in generated content.
- Enter your sitemap URL manually (e.g.,
https://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml). - Or click Auto-Detect — Wyrote will check common sitemap locations and suggest one.
Tip: Internal linking significantly improves SEO. If you have a sitemap, we strongly recommend adding it here. You can also add it later from Links in the sidebar.
Step 8: Strategy Generation
This is where Wyrote builds your first content strategy.
- Select an offering to start with — Wyrote will generate a strategy for this offering first.
- Click Generate Strategy.
You'll see a live progress tracker showing 5 phases:
| Phase | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Keyword Discovery | AI generates 100+ relevant keywords for your offering |
| Market Analysis | Fetches real search volumes, keyword difficulty, and CPC data |
| SERP Analysis | Analyzes competitor content and search result patterns |
| Topic Clustering | Groups keywords into a pillar-cluster content model |
| Content Planning | Creates article ideas with titles, types, and a publishing schedule |
This process typically takes a few minutes. Once complete, you'll be redirected to your dashboard.
What Happens After Onboarding
Once your first strategy is generated:
- You'll land on the Dashboard where your content calendar and daily queue are ready.
- A Getting Started tutorial will appear, walking you through key features.
- Your first articles will be scheduled and waiting for your approval.
You can generate strategies for your other offerings later from the Offerings page.
