Keyword Table
Keywords are grouped by offering and sorted by search volume (highest first). The table shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Keyword | The search term |
| Status | Used or Unused — whether it's assigned to content |
| Intent | The search intent behind the keyword |
| Category | How the keyword is classified |
| Volume | Monthly search volume |
| KD | Keyword Difficulty score (0–100) |
| CPC | Cost Per Click in paid ads |
| Competition | Competitive level for this keyword |
| Articles | Number of articles targeting this keyword |
Understanding Search Intent
Each keyword is classified by search intent:
| Intent | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Informational | User wants to learn something | "what is email marketing" |
| Commercial | User is researching before a purchase | "best email marketing tools" |
| Transactional | User is ready to buy or take action | "email marketing software pricing" |
Understanding Keyword Categories
Keywords are also categorized by type:
| Category | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Core | Directly related to your offering | "email marketing software" |
| Broad | Related to the broader topic | "digital marketing strategy" |
| Long-tail | Specific, multi-word phrases | "email marketing for small business owners" |
| Question | Phrased as a question | "how to improve email open rates" |
| Comparison | Comparing products or approaches | "mailchimp vs constant contact" |
| Problem | Describing a problem users face | "low email deliverability rates" |
Keyword Difficulty (KD)
The KD score indicates how difficult it is to rank for a keyword:
| Score Range | Difficulty | Badge Color |
|---|---|---|
| 0–30 | Easy | Green |
| 31–60 | Medium | Yellow |
| 61–100 | Hard | Red |
Tip: Focus on green and yellow KD keywords first, especially if your domain is newer. High-difficulty keywords become more achievable as your topical authority grows.
